Crossword Maestro is a wonderful application that solves and explains in simple words cryptic and non-cryptic crosswords. With this program you will not only have fun solving complex crosswords, but you will also learn new words. I would really recommend it for students, learning the English language. The program not only provides solutions to crosswords, but also shows how a crossword comes to a solution.
The program has the ability to tackle all types of cryptic clues, including anagram clues, container and contents, hidden words, reversals, reverse hidden words, "sounds like" clues, word deletions and others. You can also use it to solve a certain clue that you can not grasp, and then solve all the rest by yourself; or use the Auto-Solver to solve the entire puzzle.
The full version includes two modes: Two Agent Mode, in which you and the computer complete the crossword simultaneously and the Race Mode, in which you can compete against the computer.
